Muriwai Camp!

The bus drive wasn't that long even though it kind of seemed pretty long. The person next to the window is me (Hilary) and the girl with the cap next to me is my friend, Joyce. It was so much fun!!!!!!!!!!!
The man at the window is my Day leader, Oliver and the boy next to him is Maanov. We went for a 4 hr hike to the waterfall and back. The rooms were small and squashy but just enough for us to fit in and there were bunks. The next day we took a long hike to the beach but with breaks in the middle of it, it was so beautiful. As we ate our lunch a group of people started doing gymnastic(including some adults). It was tiring but also fun. The other two days we did the confidence course, and it was so creepy some courses were so high that they were even higher than all of the adults. Most of the courses to
me seemed so creepy and high as I'm scared of heights.
On the 3rd night(which is the last night, the night we have the show)we had a cool show and my team,(which includes Dorothy,Dora,Joyce and me of course!) We performed a small play/skit and it was called the 'Frenemy interview' and... I guess we did really well, except I think that *some* people could've done better like more expression. The show was really cool,my favourite part of it was when a bunch of boys went on and did funny and random stuff.(ps: I forgot there group was called,I think it was the something brothers)We've been experiencing nature and fitness in this camp and it was both tiring and fun. I wonder if it's true that one year you get this camp(the Houghton's Bush Camp) and next year you get the other camp(the snow skiing camp where it's really cold and have snow there),I wonder if it keeps on going like that year after year.If you know post a comment.

  1. Awesome description of some of the activities we did on camp Hilary and of how you felt. This was Waikowhai's first time going to Muriwai for a camp in the same year as a Production. We will have to see what our Principal says about us doing it again. At the moment the plan is to do a ski camp next year. They are super tiring, BUT stupendous fun. I heard you did really well on the Burma trail in the dark. Is that correct?
