Mission:Improve Comment

This session we have learnt about a good blog comment. This time we had to improve a blog comment on a blog post. I chose a bad comment from Dani@Gilbertthorpe School. It had a lot of spelling mistakes as you can see in this image.  I learnt that we can add other information that's kind of relevant, like for example: I like stop motion too. I also learnt that it's good to ask questions so that you can start a conversation and possibly learn some things from them and them learning something from us. You also need to be positive and helpful. The whole point of a blog comment is that you tell them what you think about their post and how that can make it better to attract more people and to learn from other people.

What makes for a good blog, padlet

For cybersmart today we were going onto padlet and writing down what makes a good blog comment. I wrote a long list of things as you can see. For this  activity I enjoyed looking at people's comments. What I found challenging is that when I was looking at one blog's comments, and there were so many comments and all of them were so long that as I'm writing this right now I kind of need to hurry. If we were to do this again (which we're not)I would read blogs with not that much comments or I would read short comments or if there are lots of comments on the page I will only read some. Please leave a comment and you can also type on this padlet.
