Book review Argenta
This Term we did a project on a book that we chose and my book is called Argenta and we had to do 8 tasks about it each slide or two is one activity. Every activity has a few tasks you need to complete in order to complete the activity. I thought I did pretty good but I could've done it a bit better in some places but it took me a long time though. I liked doing the thinglinks and the editing to make my slideshow look cooler etc; Background and font. I learnt that the author of this book Stephanie Hills' favourite book was The Coldest winter Ever by Sister Souljah. Overall I think that I should get 8/10. Feel free to comment on my blog and share my blog with other people.

Reflection on Alice in Wonderland Production
We had to write a paragraph about the Production for each of de Bono's thinking hats and then screenshot it onto a google drawing before blogging it. This is my work, the paragraphs are readable. Be sure to comment on my blog.
MONSTER READING MESS!
We had to do another of those tasks that we have done earlier but except this time we got to choose what we did with the questions. This book is about this family of birds and the two kids were fighting over something and their parent's shiny powder knocked over and made their monster drawings come alive so they decided to make a good monster to try to get rid of the bad monsters.

Board game links: Smart Relationships: Netiquette
This is a link to the video: Bad Netiquette stinks
James created a board game with links to slides about what we learnt about Cybersmart this year. this I think that this video will teach you a lot about good netiquette like it did with me. You can also have a look at my 5 ways to show good netiquette and think of 5 of your own.

Worldly Stuff
This is a link to the video: The Lie: https://vimeo.com/182020903
I felt very shocked that racism still happens to this day. It was very sad when the people said how people judged them by their culture, colour and history.

Solving Social Media Mystery(SSMM)
For cyber smart today we had to create a scenario to solve based on social media. You had to think of 2-3 questions to answer and your friend has to try to answer it too. Can you try to answer it too?
What would you do to stop her? I would tell mom to delete her social media apps and accounts and lock her device/s up somewhere really high and hide the chairs, tables and keys from her.
Can you stop her in time before she gets reported for bullying or age restriction? Yes because we won’t waste any time and we will only let her buy her phone when she’s mature enough(which she was but is not anymore)

Installation Art Response
I think we did really good for less than two weeks. I think that Zoe made pretty good mobiles and she put a lot of effort into it except she only made a few and I made most of them. Zoe made the best 'Swirlies' (she made a lot of them and made them better than me) She made really good copper wire 'Roofs'. Feel free to comment and follow me.

Reading: Bean Rock
The story is about the oldest and only cottage type of lighthouse in the New Zealand: Bean Rock. The first lighthouse keeper of Bean Rock was Hugh Brown. We wrote tons of information in the 'Reading Comprehension Questions' sheet.

My Abstract Art
Here is a slideshow about some art I made for the art show. Every slide there's an image of that step and there's also a small paragraph
explaining that piece. There's a slide with the solo thinking in it. There's also a slide that explains abstract art and a slide with the final piece and a slide with me at the art festival. The good thing about abstract art is that you can change your mind whenever and it's freestyle.

What makes for a good blog, padlet
For cybersmart today we were going onto padlet and writing down what makes a good blog comment. I wrote a long list of things as you can see. For this activity I enjoyed looking at people's comments. What I found challenging is that when I was looking at one blog's comments, and there were so many comments and all of them were so long that as I'm writing this right now I kind of need to hurry. If we were to do this again (which we're not)I would read blogs with not that much comments or I would read short comments or if there are lots of comments on the page I will only read some. Please leave a comment and you can also type on this padlet.

Strike Strike Strike!
We've had Strike before in 2014. The Strike people were so good that the school decided to do it in 2015 but we booked it too late and since Strike is so popular it got all booked out. This is a photo of them drumming on one of the types of drums. They sound really cool and the different instruments give off different, unique and wonderful sounds. It was so loud that when they played the sound vibrated through my chest.
Muriwai Camp!
The bus drive wasn't that long even though it kind of seemed pretty long. The person next to the window is me (Hilary) and the girl with the cap next to me is my friend, Joyce. It was so much fun!!!!!!!!!!!
The man at the window is my Day leader, Oliver and the boy next to him is Maanov. We went for a 4 hr hike to the waterfall and back. The rooms were small and squashy but just enough for us to fit in and there were bunks. The next day we took a long hike to the beach but with breaks in the middle of it, it was so beautiful. As we ate our lunch a group of people started doing gymnastic(including some adults). It was tiring but also fun. The other two days we did the confidence course, and it was so creepy some courses were so high that they were even higher than all of the adults. Most of the courses to
me seemed so creepy and high as I'm scared of heights.
On the 3rd night(which is the last night, the night we have the show)we had a cool show and my team,(which includes Dorothy,Dora,Joyce and me of course!) We performed a small play/skit and it was called the 'Frenemy interview' and... I guess we did really well, except I think that *some* people could've done better like more expression. The show was really cool,my favourite part of it was when a bunch of boys went on and did funny and random stuff.(ps: I forgot there group was called,I think it was the something brothers)We've been experiencing nature and fitness in this camp and it was both tiring and fun. I wonder if it's true that one year you get this camp(the Houghton's Bush Camp) and next year you get the other camp(the snow skiing camp where it's really cold and have snow there),I wonder if it keeps on going like that year after year.If you know post a comment.

My 24hr digital footprint
I spent most of my time on looking for this game, called Don't Starve in the Weekend because I normally either use youtube or do homework in the Weekdays. I also use youtube in the weekend except I hardly use my chromebook at home normally and when I was looking for the game things didn't go so well and some how it went to Mcplayz and this website called goodman or something like that and those sites just popped up afterwards. It wouldn't make a difference in the weekend because I did do the words that appear big in the on this image in the weekend! The word google comes on either big or lots of them pop up because on this small image because we use google to search things.
